Hello Class. I want to say "thank you"... I couldn't have asked for a better group of people for my first Photgraphy class. When LuAnn approached me at Festival Foods one evening and asked me if I would teach a group of her friends on how to use their cameras, I have to admit I said "Sure!" and then went to bed that night saying..."How are you gonna teach a class??!?! What did you get yourself into Mike???" I have to admit that I was pretty nervous! But I met some wonderful people in our class. Christian People who maybe like me knew each other through many years of passing through the Church halls. Seeing each other sitting in opposite pews during a service (Remember I am that grumpy tired looking guy according to my wife Tami!)lol... and to meet you all in a class that gave us a chance to share our love for photography was truly a wonderful Blessing from God. I cherished all those meetings and had a hard time ending it. But I could feel that you were all really getting the feel for your cameras. I am very proud of this group. I can remember the first 3 weeks coming in and seeing such wide open eyes and pencils scratching pads of paper as you tried to ingest everything I through at you about your mystery device we call a Camera. I am so proud of my class cause in the end I saw confused people trying to figure out this thing to confident pros ready to have fun taking pictures! You all made me so proud...And I was amazed I didn't make it more confusing for you! I learned alot though and I appreciate you being patient with me as I stumbled through my first time teaching. I can't wait to get together with all of you this summer for an afternoon photo hike. I hope you will all be able to make it. We will talk more about dates around April. Man I am so proud of this group! And remember to add your pics on this blog so we can all see each others work! God Bless ~Mike
